Valve guides are the core product of our engine parts division. We manufacture them to our customers' wishes and specifications. Up to a length of 200 mm, our valve guides are made from grey cast iron in various compositions, with either a rough bore or a finish bore. For longer valve guides we use one of several copper alloys, like CuZn40Al2, CuNi2Si, Thermo-Hedul FS and E (special alloys containing a metalloid) or sintered alloy. Our steering parts program covers grey cast iron as well as steel products needed to build power steering assemblies. Valve guides for instance, are made from grey cast iron whereas torsion bars, bending bars and PCF torsion bars are made from Steel (i.e. 50CrV4). Of course we also use new technologies like rotary swaging and laser welding in the production of our steering parts.
